It is me again! I forgot to mention a few more things on why I LOVE your liquid soap (especially the shower gel): Your liquid soap has been the only one I have discovered that does not cause the fingers to crack, pain and bleed. And the only one that does not make my body itch to the point of madness, especially around the dry winter season.
Your liquid soap was the only one that made urine and accidental diarrhea odor disappear like a snap when used exclusively for 2 years to clean the body of an elderly good friend I cared for. I used adult briefs on him at nighttime only. His skin was as soft and healthy as a baby's. This speaks for both the antibacterial qualities of your soap, and the gentleness qualities of its natural ingredients on the skin, successively.
And using your shower gel as shampoo is doing wonders to my hair since I started using it about three weeks ago. My hair is full, soft and smells aromatherapeutic!
What more can I say about your liquid soaps?! Just marvelous!

June 10, 2009 0 CommentsI have to say, I never thought much about soap, nor did I realize the deep health and ecological implications of the industry. I started using "natural" soaps a few years ago, wanting to move away from all the synthetic fragrance of conventional soaps after developing an allergy.
Soon I learned how toxic and harmful so many of the substances in the foaming agents and preservatives were, not just to me, but to the environment after they are washed down the drain and return back into our water systems. After much research, I found that even soaps that were labeled "organic" and "natural" had Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Propylene Glycol, fragrances and other toxic agents -- or if they didn't, it was generally a very unsatisfying product that often left my skin feeling dry. And, to be honest, they didn't provide me with the same sensory experience of suds and scent as Pangea.
This is what impressed most about Pangea -- not only were they providing a truly organic and natural product that was absolutely non-toxic, but the product itself was terrific in quality and a joy to use.

I love your Canadian Sage and Pine body wash. Mmmmmm. I love how little I have to use because one little squeeze is so thick and rich and produces great lather. The consistency is thicker than most liquid soaps, but I like it. Seems more real. (Can't stand those stingy soaps that don't produce any suds.) But the best part is the scent. Takes me somewhere far, far away from my shower. It's practically a meditation.

I use the all-natural, fragrance-free one, and my body just loves it. I have very sensitive skin, and within 3-5 days, my face was completely clear. I don't even have my normal post-shower sneezing fit.
I had been searching for soap capable of adequately moisturizing without irritating or clogging for years. Please don't change a thing!

June 10, 2009 0 CommentsA friend gave me one of your soaps to try, and I absolutely love them!! I've been using handmade soaps for a while. I'm so glad that you don't use palm oil I despise it! I have very sensitive skin, and palm oil is very drying. Every time I tried to find a palm oil free soap, it was like looking for a needle in a hay stack. I was so surprised because almost all the natural soaps have palm oil in them to make the soap harder and lather more. I really give you guys props for saying no to palm oil! Thanks sooo much!!

I normally don't go through the trouble of contacting companies to tell them that I like their products, but I'm making an exception in your case. A few months ago I purchased your shower gel and have been hooked. I liked the product so much that I wanted to give friends bottles for Christmas, but the local health food store where I purchase it had run out of the scent I like the best: geranium-sage. Just last week I had them special order me two bottles of it so that I could give one to my sister.
I'm a fan of essential oils and have found that many of the products that claim to contain them carry such small amounts that the scent is barely detectable. Your product, however, is perfect. In fact, I'm convinced it has healing properties of some sort. I used to use "Bath and Body Works" shower gels but wouldn't think of using them again - they feel so harsh compared to your product.
